The Defaulting Debtors' Database is a Data Bank which provides information on proven debts to third parties - such as court orders and return to drawer cheques. This information is collected on a daily basis by physical and legal entities that are connected to the Defaulting Debtors' Database. Entities include banks, financial institutions, and telecommunications companies. The Database offers the following three options:
Defaulting Debtors Search
Subscribing Customers have web-based access to the Database and are able to search for a listed Company or Consumer.
Should the Database Search on the Company or Customer result as positive, the customer has the opportunity to purchase a Defaulting Debtors Report or a Defaulting Debtors Enhanced Report allowing you to obtain detailed information on a company's or consumer's bill-paying history and debt profile.
Defaulting Debtors Report
A Defaulting Debtors Report provides the customer with information on a company's or consumer's debt amount as well as basic information on the company or consumer as follows:
- Company Name or Consumer Name
- Identity Card Number
- Company or Consumer Address
- Company or Consumer Telephone Number
Defaulting Debtors Enhanced Report
A Defaulting Debtors Enhanced Report includes all information provided in a Defaulting Debtors Report, as well as the following:
- In relation to a Consumer: A list of companies the consumer is linked to either through Directorship or as Company Shareholder.
- In relation to a Company: Detailed information regarding the Company Tree - Whether it is the Parent or Subsidiary Company, and whether the Company is connected to other Companies.
